Privacy statement
This site is operated by GetQuoted, a trading name of The Click Lab Limited. When you enquire, your details go to one local installer so they can contact you, and we may ring you afterwards to ask how it went. We don't sell your details or pass them to anyone else. Last updated 15 September 2026.
Who is collecting your details
GetQuoted, a trading name of The Click Lab Limited, a New Zealand company. GetQuoted runs this website and the enquiry service behind it. It is the agency for the purposes of the Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- From the enquiry form: your name and phone number, and anything else you choose to add: email, suburb, frame type, number of windows, when the house was built, timing and notes.
- From your browser: the page you enquired from, standard web server logs, and the version of this privacy notice shown to you at the time. This site does not use advertising cookies.
Why we collect it, and who receives it
- To connect you with an installer. Your details are sent to the Christchurch double glazing installer this site currently works with, who is named on the how it works page once an installer is signed, so they can contact you about your enquiry, arrange a measure and give you a quote.
- To check how it went. We may contact you afterwards to ask how you got on with the installer. That is how we check the installer is treating people well, and it is the basis on which the installer pays us. Your answers are not passed back to the installer in a way that identifies you unless you ask us to raise something.
- To run the service. Records of enquiries and calls are used to resolve disputes, keep out spam and duplicate enquiries, and to work out what the installer owes for the work this site sends them.
If the installer this site works with changes, enquiries collected before the change stay with the installer they were disclosed to. New enquiries go to the new installer, and this statement is updated to name them. If the service itself changes hands, your details may pass to the new operator on the same terms as these.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your details or share them with any business other than the installer named above and the suppliers that host our systems.
- We don't send marketing. The only contact you get from us is the follow-up call about your enquiry.
- We don't collect payment details. You pay the installer directly.
Where your details are held, and for how long
Enquiries reach us by email and are kept in our business email account, which is provided by Google and may be stored outside New Zealand. We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to run the service and resolve any dispute about a job, and no longer than seven years.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You can also ask us not to make the follow-up call, and we won't. Write to GetQuoted at the address below and we will respond within 20 working days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
